About Us:
The Journey started as a humble romance with music that had its seeds sown a decade ago, when the members of the band were college graduates. The band has a history of having performed at various venues across the states of Kerala and Karnataka over a decade. Pursuing our dream of producing harmonious music, the band has been re launched as MapleReed this January after a brief hiatus.
The name MapleReed is self explanatory as Reeds made out of Maple.
A reed is a thin strip of material which vibrates to produce a sound on a musical instrument. Maple is considered a tone-wood that carries sound waves much better and brighter, and is used in numerous musical instruments.
Reed made out of mighty maple, and hence we call ourselves MapleReed......

Serenading through the rich pastures of slow rock, our music is a pleasant blend of soul stirring melodies blended with Hindi lyrics that will elate one’s spirits.
